Excursion, as the word seems, a journey, travel, to the places distant or near. As they say, life is a journey, and to travel is to live. We all do travelling in our life and for many different reasons. May it for Business, adventure, Leisure, Family time, honeymoon, the list is endless. Our travel taste changes with time and as our life progresses. Like, backpacking in teenage to honeymoon and leisure after getting married, to kid’s friendly travel after having a family. Nevertheless, all travels are linked with exploring, interacting and exchanging.

All the journeys we make have some stories associated with it, which we remember for lifetime. Like some activity on our adventure trip to Himachal Pradesh or that joyous gujarati family we met in Railway while travelling to Delhi or a bonfire night with co-trekkers while on a trek in Darjeeling. Excursion is not only about the place or its historic, cultural values, food and cuisine, but its also about the small little things which happen during that time, we call them stories, and everybody has it.

This blog is all about such stories, which make our travel an exciting journey and give us moments to cherish forever.  Its an attempt to inspire and guide new age travelers and share with them my excursion stories, experiences and lessons learnt.
