2. Vagabond
-by Jeremy James
This book is an Excursion story of the author “Jeremy James”. The journey starts when author and long-rider Jeremy James buys two horses from gypsies at a fair in southern Bulgaria. He and his long-suffering friend Chumpie then set off on horseback, winding northwards to Berlin, and on the way they encounter a marvellous array of local characters from all walks of life as they ride from Bulgaria to Berlin, via Romania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Poland. On a low budget, they are sustained by local fire-water, indigestible food and the forceful personalities of their horses who steal, run away, misbehave or suddenly comply at will and add a whole new dimension to the experience of travel. After five long months, they finally reach their destination. It has taken Jeremy through an Eastern Europe full of surprises, which, with the collapse of communism, has almost disappeared today.
About the author : Jeremy James is a great writer, able to bring the sensations of such a trip directly to the reader. A great travel book, with an interesting view on the communist countries of eastern Europe. The author has good sense of humor, and the warmth he feels for his horses is seen in his writing.
This book has “4.5*” on “Goodreads” and “4.4*” on “Amazon.

7. Gulliver’s Travel
All time favorite for kids (and grown ups too). Gulliver’s travel and Lilliput is part of our childhood too. Its a tough task to keep kids engaged throughout the day, specially during quarantine, as they are not allowed to go out and we don’t want to engage them in mobile phones.
Gulliver travelled to a remote island. On that island, all people were dwarfs. He faced difficult times. Then, he became the favourite of the king. Then, he made a small mistake and the court ordered his execution. But his life was saved and he returned home safe.
The original flavour of these classics has been carefully retained in these abridged versions.
This is a great time to bond with your child through family storytime and strengthen a love for books and reading.
This is available in E-book as well as feature movie clip.
